How did the Mongolians maintain control?
Kublai made sure Chinese politicians didn't gain too much power. He did this to keep China in Mongol control. He ended examination systems for chossing officials, instead he brought in foreign officials. Chinese officials got the worst and lowest jobs (haha suckers). He restored the grand Canal and worked to rebuild China. He promotedbtrade and made foreign contacts with the world and kept Chinese people away from people.
Who was responsible for the fall of the Mongolian Empire describe them.
After Kublai Khan died in 1294, the Mongol emipre weakend. In 1368 a rebel army led by Zhu Yuanzhang overthrough and defeated the mongol empire. Zhu created the Ming Dynasty and expanded the Great Wall of China. I guess they were tired of Kublai being a big fat meany head so they killed him and all the other Mongols!:)
What type of government does the Mongolian Empire have, how does it influence their rule over China?
The Mongols were nomads who had a fierce army. Kublai Khan was the first in 300 years top have complete control over China. The Mongols were the first foreign power to rule China. Kublai tok many Chinese government aspects. Kublai declared himself emperor and started the Yuan Dynasty.
Why did the Mongolians invade China?
Like all other cilvilizations the Mongols wanted power. Who doesn't want power right? The Mongolians wanted to expand their emipre and rule over a hopeless China so they did what they wanted to and accomplished their task. But this process took over 6 decades!

Who was the leader of the Mongol Empire, what is his role?
The founder of the Mongolian Emipre is the notorious Genghis Khan. To win his postion he had to fight and kill his way through to the top. His name meant, "universal ruler" (which everyone thought he was). The Mongol people were fierce, cruel, and deadly nomadic warriors. Genghis organized his fierce army of merciless people into a vast army and began his conquest toward China. By 1221, the Mongols had conquered most of Central China and with it its hope for regaining control.
