Kublai made sure Chinese politicians didn't gain too much power. He did this to keep China in Mongol control. He ended examination systems for chossing officials, instead he brought in foreign officials. Chinese officials got the worst and lowest jobs (haha suckers). He restored the grand Canal and worked to rebuild China. He promotedbtrade and made foreign contacts with the world and kept Chinese people away from people.
